| Introduction | I'm a stay at home mom after leaving the auto insurance industry. I live with my hubby, who is an oil field worker. Two obnoxious, but sweet teenagers, one at home and one on her own, a kitten who thinks she is a tiger and a terribly spoiled pug. I learned to knit about eight years ago as a way to keep myself out of trouble after a major surgery and it has blossomed into a full on love affair with fiber. It's possibly a sickness. It seems to be spreading too since my daughter and hubby do it now and my son is looking for lessons.... Who knew wool could be infectious? I've also developed a passion for tracing my family history and for genealogy in general. I like to think of it as stalking the dead. Which is sometimes easier, because the dead don't move around as much and they are less likely to call the police. |

Why does the color blue mean raspberry-flavored?
IT DOESN'T. I'm very firm on this. There are no blue raspberries in nature, therefore blue raspberry is not a flavor. I won't eat anything "blue raspberry" flavored despite my deep conviction that there is not enough blue food in the world.
