| Introduction | Somewhere in the confusion of adolescence, without really knowing what I was doing (ha!) I decided I wanted to be a scientist. So that is what I became, a Biochemist inspired mainly by the impossible perfection of the human body and the astounding detailed intricacy with which it works. I remember sitting in the immunology lecture, with a surprised feeling and a dominating idea in my head: "how can this be?????!".... and so, after a few years, I found myself involved in a life of science that had plenty of boring admin & technical day to day tasks and little of that beauty and immaculate perfection that kept my mouth open. Today I know that what I was really drawn to during those critical decisive years was the creativeness of the divine, and that the scientific life style is actually not my thing. An thus, little by little I have gone through a process of rethinking my life and trying to answer the big questions for myself so that I can get ever closer to being fulfilled. This blog is a part of that process, an exploration of the explicit beauty that lies around in nature, in us human beings and in all the folklore, traditions and culture of our diverse world. |
