| Introduction | As a new graduate student who is also married, I have found that I really need a hobby. Something that I enjoy and can use to take my mind away from the daily grind. I have always loved cooking, especially baking and recently I have found myself turning to a new dish as frequently as possible in order to feed my need to cook and experiment. The more I was thinking about this the more I realized that I had a hobby right in front of me! I feel that lately the kitchen has become such a welcoming place for me that it has consumed me! When I get a free second in my day I am searching for new recipes and reading other food blogs. I find that this is a creative outlet for me as well as a time to relax, reflect, and enjoy wonderful tastes and smells (most of the time). So I am starting this blog in order to challenge myself to keep trying new ideas. It is also my hope that it will inspire others as I was inspired by many food blogs. |
