| Introduction | Juried artist, R. Stuart Carpenter, studied fine art, as well as commercial art in Chicago, Illinois. His early career found him honing his talents at various studios and agencies throughout the Chicagoland area. He now exhibits his artwork in the Valley of the Sun, where he has resided since 1991. Drawing inspiration from early Native American history, tradition and folklore, th artist respectfully illustrates our nation's first celebrated people.
