Introduction	My name is Alicia and I am 32 years old and I have been married 3 years to my wonderful husband Micah. I have been actively involved with Breath of Heaven Children's Ministries since 2006. This ministry is dedicated in helping meet the needs of the growing orphan population in Lusaka, Zambia. This will be my 4th trip to Zambia and I am excited and blessed to see what God has planned for me. This trip has a much different focus than previous trips. For 2 weeks our team will be focused on teaching the children the foundations of reading. Starting first with individual assessments and then teaching the sounds of speech, phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, spelling, writing, and comprehension. We have a great work ahead of us but know that through God all things are possible.
