Introduction	Iain North is an interdisciplinary artist whose practice primarily examines space and place. Drawing inspiration from the barren yet somewhat surreal works of Edward Hopper and Thomas Demand, North often creates works that pose dualities of Nature and Mankind, Physical and Imaginary, and Real and Virtual. Past works have seen him incorporate a wide range of media including drawing, sculpture and site specific webcam feeds. North is also a member of Manchester based collective BAA with whom he has collaborated on shows and individual pieces.
