Introduction	At heart I'm a flip-flops kind of girl, but try to find an excuse every now and then to bust out some heels. Dark is best, but anything chocolate will suffice. Someday I will travel the world with my family in search of creative photographic moments, but for now we find them in our own backyard. If I could I would sit in the back of classrooms and never stop being a student, but I've found that Motherhood has been my greatest teacher. I'm super clumsy and am always bumping into things, but it wasn’t long ago that I was a camera operator and shockingly enough people let me handle thousands of dollars worth of film equipment. My degree is in film so I can rationalize watching lots of movies, but with four kids and a husband whose cinematic taste consists of explosions and fast cars, I don’t see as many as I would like. I love hanging out with my 4 hooligans more than anything else in the world, even when I haven't showered, eaten, and am so sleep deprived that conversations starting with "Mom, don't you wish you could speak whale?" completely make sense.
