Introduction	The South Florida Modern Quilt Guild is a community of quilters who want to "quilt outside the box!" An emphasis is placed on "Modern" quilting, which means different things to different quilters. "Modern" quilting ranges from combining traditional techniques with modern fabrics, using contemporary patterns, creating improvisational quilts, making art quilts, or anything that is made in "modern" times. We are all-inclusive! The Guild meets regularly throughout the year in Boca Raton, Florida. Quilters of all skill levels and interests are welcome to participate in meetings, show-and-tell sessions, swaps, Bees and other fun events! Quilters who are young or "young at heart" are especially encouraged to join this dynamic, exciting group of individuals.
