Introduction	I was born and raised in a smaller than small town on the Mississippi Delta. My parents made sure I was well traveled and well rounded, but I never really desired to live further than a three hour plane ride from "Home" (Dorothy was right...there's no place like it!). Then, in just under 3 years, I managed to sort of accidentally do a gaggle of things I swore to myself I never would: met and fell in love with a military man, married him, and uprooted my life - leaving my family, friends, and everything I've known and loved for almost three decades behind - to follow him overseas. Over 5 years and 2 kids later, I'm still trying to figure it all out. I'm living proof that Mick Jagger was right about not always getting what you want, but getting what you need. I'm adjusting, and life is constantly changing, but every day is a new adventure. I curse a lot, rant a lot, sometimes get too deep, write a lot of entries and delete them, and spend a lot of time laughing at myself. Please feel free to laugh with me....or AT me....whatever feels most natural....
