| Introduction | After receiving degrees in English Literature and Comparative Religion I passionately pursued design/crafts/art. In New York City I studied garment and accessory design and construction under a former FIT instructor, managed the visual display department for David Yurman Jewelry, as well as avidly took classes in knitting and crocheting. Once I moved to Colorado I found my love for surface design and was able to converge all my interests with needlework and fibers. My most recent obsession is utilizing “crafts” and traditional artisanship to express modern design and ideas from the industrial/mass production era. |
