| Introduction | I'm an experimenter, chemist and general technologist. I began experimenting with electricity at age 4 by cutting the lamp cord in a shower of sparks. I still liked sparks and learned how to make more colorful sparks in my pre-teens by becoming an acomplished pyrotechnologist. I painfully survived burns and explosions and decided to get a PhD in chemistry. I had been a high-school drop out. I've been fortunate to have mixed chemistry with electronics and other technologies that, hopefully provides a "big picture" of the tech landscape. My passions remain science and technology, but I'm working hard to become a futurist. |
