| Introduction | Journalist since 1986. Right now an Editor of MwanaHALISI newspaper, published by the Hali Halisi Publishers Ltd (HHPL). The paper which came into operation in May 2006, was banned by the government on 30th July 2012 for being allegedly publishing seditious material. The government has remained adamant despite the public outcry for it to uplift the ban. It is the second such punishment - first being in October 2008, that the paper has experienced. |
