| Introduction | I grew up in the small town of Thatcher, Utah, and these days, Alpine is home — and I wouldn’t trade it for anywhere else. When I need a moment to breathe, you’ll usually find me at my piano. I love turning out the lights, sitting alone, and just playing until my heart feels light again. Funny enough, that’s often when my best writing ideas appear. I have a husband I adore (and he adores me too), five kids, and fourteen beautiful grandkids — the absolute joy of my life.
