| Introduction | I am a mother a five children who started a second career on Cape Cod in 1987 as the owner of The Crystal Pineapple, retailer of collectibles and jewelry. It has been a wonderful journey that has evolved into a business on Cape Cod and the Internet (Crystalpineapple.com) that has employed our children as well people from all over the world. Now our son, Tim is designing and manufacturing jewelry made on Cape Cod. I have been able to travel extensively to most parts of the globe. My journeys have taken me to most European countries numerous times, to various countries in Africa such as Ghana, Egypt, Morocco and South Africa. In recent years I have traveled to Hong Kong. We have a daughter-in-law from Brazil and a son-in-law from Argentina so we have traveled to their homes as well. Genealogy, family, business and just plain adventure call me to these far off places.
