"Born a Texan, raised in the Military, yet kept off base to limit indoctrination, I have traveled and interacted with others globally long before the Internet was a whisper in some mad scientist's mind. Daughter of an Air Force fighter pilot trainer and a geriatric psychiatrist, I was committing random acts of service from the tender age of five. Firm believers of service, my parents had me on Indian reservations, in refugee camps, volunteering at blood centers, cathedrals and on District Attorney peer review boards when other kids were selling lemonade and babysitting.
