| Introduction | I love to create new things, but there is just something about transforming an old worn out piece into FAB! It all started over 10 years ago, with an old table and buffet that was my hubby's Great Grandmas. I couldn't bear the thought of not keeping it, but couldn't put it in my brand new house the way it looked either. So my obsession of upcycling began. Finally after sheets and sheets of sandpaper, putty, and paint, I headed to the paint store. I explained to them that I had refinished a table, chairs and buffet. I had painted it, then had sanded it, attacked it with an ice pick, stained it to make it look old, and now needed a finish to go on it. The guy looked at me like I was crazy and said, "Don't you know you could have saved yourself a lot of work? They have ones that look just like that at the DI." He didn't understand! |

You get to ride the big roller coaster three times in a row. What will keep your dad from taking a bite out of your candy apple?
I don't know if there is anything I could do in this case. I will always remember going to see my dad at work. No matter what we were eating he would always ask to have a bite. We would say, "just a little one." Well, I don't think dad's know the meaning of little bite.
