About me

Gender Male
Introduction I am a former sportswriter for a major NYC daily. The Knicks were my first beat. I traveled all over the country with them for several years, saw over 800 NBA games. Also covered Yanks, Mets, college basketball. I went to five World Series and had my own column. Now the only sports I write are boxing features for HBO’s boxing website. I am a graduate of Rutgers University, where my ambition at first was to be a jock, playing football and lacrosse. In high school I never read a book I wasn’t assigned, and had no interest in the arts. It was all sports and girls. Then I became exposed to writing and novels in college. I got hooked and quit sports to pursue my true love, and have never stopped writing. I have written and published a thriller called “The Zukovka Experiment.” I wrote three plays: "There Must Be Some Way Out of Here,” “Larger Than Life” and “Suspect.” All three were put on in showcase in New York City. I directed each one and acted in them as well. Currently I am writing a mystery series. My main character is based on a close friend who was a former DEA agent turned high profile private investigator.
