Introduction	Well, turning fifty a few years ago, I’d finally decided to learn to write. What I mean by that is write short stories and poetry, while attempting also to teach myself the basics of grammar. Having had a rather transient life as a child, my education is spotty at best. Friends and family have been encouraging me with each new piece I've completed and I enjoy doing it. This blog then, is my way of sharing work that would probably otherwise just sit collecting dust. Hopefully I'll gather enough material to eventually publish a small volume. I encourage you to read through several pieces as I've written utilizing a great variety of subjects. If one doesn't suit you, well try the next. In a way, it is like buying sox. Hopefully, you will enjoy something I've offered up. Constructive criticism is most welcome.
