| Introduction | You can call me "Mother T." I am a follower of Christ, a praying woman. Thirty years ago I left my LA childhood home. I didn't want to go, didn't want a strange culture and certainly didn't want to fall for Christ. But God is far wiser than I. I became a wife, a mother, a writer, a believer. I didn't want to come back to LA. I questioned His plan again. Now I'm thinking LA needs my small prayers. It's been a shock to see the spirit of violence that has covered the city like a fog. Reading the Homicide Report Blog at the LA Times inspired this blog. It will take a prayer-powered wind to blow away the layers of despair and anger that shroud the city. If others join me, the strength will expand. Your religious affiliations aren't my concern. God knows your heart. Prayer is a creative force for transformation. LET'S PRAY, L.A.!
