| Introduction | I am a qualified Civil Engineer, specialising in Traffic Engineering. I started my own business working from home just after my first child was born. I thought it would be effective to stay in the engineering industry, maintain my skills and consult on small projects from home, whilst my baby was asleep. I affectionately called my contribution to the family my "cake and coffee fund". Five years later I have an enterprising business providing Traffic Engineering Consultancy services to Private and Public Companies across a diverse range of industries. I hope to encourage other professional women, especially mums, to think big, be inspired and have a laugh along the way! |
