| Introduction | I am currently an undergraduate student at Syracuse University. My major is writing and pre-law. I am 20 years old, originally from a small town in Delaware. So I’m sure you asking why am I here? In short, I decided to participate in an internship this year; I will be interning at the Auburn State Prison, Tutoring intimates to get their GEDs. My goal in life it to become an attorney and one day a judge, so when this internship opportunity came into my life I couldn’t let it pass by. I wanted to get to see the aspect of the legal system that most judges and lawyers never are fully immersed in. This semester I am also working in a class that looks at rhetoric of non-western cultures. I will be exploring this experience and adding research and questions that are posed throughout the semester as well. |
