| Introduction | A true globalist I am, being multi-lingual and multi-cultured. My education encompasses five systems: Asian, British, Canadian, American and Australian. I have lived and worked around the world: South, Southeast and Far East Asia, Australia, Europe, North America and Africa. I turned to teaching after being in the business world for over 19 years and having served in the government sector for 10 years. I am presently the Ross Pendergraft Endowed Professor of International Business at the University of Arkansas, Fort Smith. Previously I taught at the Welch College of Business, Sacred Heart University, Connecticut and Luxembourg; Ashland University, Ohio; Eckerd College and University of Tampa, Florida; and South Texas College in McAllen. I hold undergraduate degrees in the humanities (B.A.) and marketing (B.B.A.) from Lakehead University in Canada, the Master of International Management (M.I.M.) degree with Distinctions from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in the US, and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Management and International Business from the University of South Australia. |
