| Introduction | In 2006, I graduated with University Honors from East Carolina University after successfully completing the Elementary Education program and writing an undergraduate thesis on Autism. In the summer of 2006, I lead a group of volunteers who organized GuluWalk Greenville in an attempt to raise awareness and financial support for youth programs in Uganda, Africa. These programs, which are designed to support former child soldiers, use activities such as art therapy and sports to assist children with overcoming the overwhelming adversity they faced while with the Lord's Resistance Army. In the spring of 2008, I organized the Johnny C. Blood Drive in Greenville, NC in honor of John Challis in Pennsylvania. Favorite sports teams: Seattle Seahawks, Boston Red Sox, Penn St. Nittany Lions and Philadelphia Flyers Favorite foods: fruit, veggies, Hog Maw, Chicken Pot Pie, pizza and blended shakes with baked chicken, spinach and blueberries. Favorite music: TOOL, Cold, Nonpoint, The Tragically Hip, Classic Rock, Country and Jazz |
