| Introduction | Currently living in Northern California. Mom to one whom I am very proud of. My family roots are in The Netherlands. Retired from a sub-contracting business, Moonbear Designs, 30 years fabricating window treatments for Interior Designers. Started a longarm quilting business. Learned cross stitch from my Oma as soon as I could thread a needle. Quilting since 1986 being a part of the evolution of tools and techniques is amazing. Interesting is the resurgence of templates! My first love is for 19th Century reproduction quilts and fabrics. Second is batiks. I appreciate Modern Quilts with their minimalistic design which leaves them wide open for quilting designs. Simply, I love everything about quilting, it is the best therapy! |
