| Introduction | I took out student loans based on the modest idea that I would make $30k a year. After a few terms of AmeriCorps and half a master's degree, I'm in a job with net pay of about $1600 a month. My student loan payments are $607.74 a month. It isn't difficult math to see that living on my own requires a strict budget. I've become accustomed to a lifestyle I can no longer afford. Back in school again to finally realize my dream of becoming a Middle School Communication Arts teacher! |
