| Introduction | I live between two worlds--the ultra conservative, safe world of my LDS community and the pull of the greater world that shouts that there is so much more. As such, I live on the edge, in-between, at the fringe, not really integrating into either world. I hope that this position lends itself to the verdancy and fecundity of the Permacultural principle that life flourishes at the edge, that in-between place--by the sidewalk, at the edge of the grow box, where one ecosystem bumps up against another. I seek to cultivate that especially life-giving potential "from the edge." |
