| Introduction | I was an artist from the time I was a tiny child. As an adolescent, I always thought of myself as an artist. In college and after, I was a painter. Then I became a wife and mom…and wandered from my artistic path – never really leaving it but distracted by life. The opportunity arose to become an art educator and I took that road. These have all been wonderful experiences, but my life has now come full circle, back to MY art, which I never truly left completely, just veered away from my original itinerary. For many years I worked exclusively in watercolor. I now work in acrylic as well, and my main focus is on nature and the world I see around me – life. |
