| Introduction | I live a relatively simple life with my wife Holly and our son Bryce. While at home, much of our time is spent reading or coming up with schemes for our future. Whenever possible, we like to get out of town and have "adventures," as we like to refer to them. Some of our adventures are a short jump over to Wallowa Lake or camping at West Eagle Meadows. Other times we venture off to the coast to play on the beach for a couple of days. Once or twice a year, however, we like to do something a little more dramatic. Unfortunately, these adventures are not quite as cheap. They usually entail plane tickets and necessary provisions for traveling to Alaska or Hawaii (naming the most recent) and generally involve getting lost in an environment with which we are unfamiliar. Hopefully, at the end of this year, we will begin a whole new adventure. Holly and I will both finally have finished our degrees and be in a position to to experience a new place, somewhere in the world, on a longer-term basis. We are on God's good humor, at this point, and would not want it any other way. |
