Introduction I was born in Hong Kong, moved to Vancouver when I was around 2 years of age and have been living there ever since. I recently graduated from the University of British Columbia, where I studied Microbiology & Immunology and earned a B.Sc degree.

Although unrelated to my educational background, I like making all sorts of crafts during my spare time, ranging from origami to beaded dolls, to cooking/baking, to sewing, and so on! In 2004, I discovered what were called Amigurumi, which stood for crocheted/knitted stuffed stuff. However, I never actually got into making any amigurumi until 2008.

I find crocheting to be really captivating in that I'm able to design and create things in a completely free-form style according to my own imaginations. It can be challenging and very time-consuming at times, but a quick look at the finished products always make all the hard work worth it!
