Introduction	My name is Joan Johnston. I teach kindergarten in the Red Pod at Coosada Elementary. I began teaching in 2002. This is my tenth year of teaching. I have two children, Shannon and Ryan. I am from the Millbrook area, but currently live in Deatsville. I attended Auburn University at Montgomery and graduated with a BS in Childhood Education in 2002. I have started on my Master's Degree, but have put that on hold. In my spare time, I love to go to the lake, swim, travel, play Bunco with friends, spend time with my family, and watch Alabama football! ROLL TIDE!!! I love teaching and look forward to having a great year.
