| Introduction | Vic holds a doctorate degree in science (PhD) from the University of Hohenheim, Germany and has conducted scientific research and field investigations in several countries. He has received several prestigious awards as a scientist and professor of soil science and geo-ecology the most recent among them was the Alexander von Humboldt Research Fellowship award (2008-09) which is regarded worldwide as a recognition of scientific excellence. He is a native of Borongan and currently a Visiting Scientist at the University of Halle in Germany. |
