| Introduction | I am a walking miracle. Only 43 years old when diagnosed with colon cancer in March 2006, I am one of only 3% who are diagnosed before age 50. My original oncologist pronounced a death sentence, giving me only 12 months to live. According to him, I should have died in March, 2007. With the financial help of many generous people, I was able to undergo the procedures needed to become cancer-free. As of March 26, 2008, I am totally cancer-free...thanks to the many kind people who helped fund the trips to Houston where I underwent surgery!!! |
