| Introduction | I am a fiction writer and librettist who lives in Connecticut. My published novels include THE BEAUTY OF ORDINARY THINGS, THE LOST SKETCHBOOK OF EDGAR DEGAS, LYDIA CASSATT READING THE MORNING PAPER, SOMEONE NOT REALLY HER MOTHER, and OHIO ANGELS. I have written the libretto for MY LAI, an operatic monodrama composed by Jonathan Berger and performed by Kronos Quartet, Rinde Eckert and Vanessa Von-Anh. I am working on a libretto for a new opera, to be composed by Georg Friedrich Haas. |
