| Introduction | I am a regular walker sometimes joined by DH, my dear patient husband. We started the walks with pets - a chocolate lab, Paddy (Padimus Maximus aka Houdini dog), and a black lab mix, Scruffy (Scrufalufagus aka Sir Barksalot). We lost Paddy and Scruffy in 2016 - a rough year. We are now joined by Zelda (or Z or Z-girl), a parpoozer. She makes us laugh. Our yellow tabby, Hobbes, is not a walker, but a runner when we forget and leave the back door open long enough for him to escape the unwary. He's almost 20 and we can catch him more easily these days. Almost daily adventures in our neighborhood parks (and our thoughts thereon) are shared here (as well as our treks elsewhere). |
