| Introduction | I'm an award-winning wine writer for long associated with The Sunday Times in the UK, but in 2009 I finally swapped the weekly wine column for the wine & food editor's chair at House & Garden magazine. I'm a co-founder of www.thewinegang.com, the UK's leading independent wine recommendation website, and I write for a wide variety of other publications. My books, published all over the world and in some countries under the name Joanna Simonová, include Wine An Introduction, Discovering Wine, The Sunday Times Book of Wine, and Wine with Food. I'm a senior judge at top international wine competitions and give tastings to consumer groups and one-to-one fast-track tutorials. As a broadcaster I presented The Bottle Uncorked on BBC Radio 4 and my TV appearances have covered everything from matching wine and food to buying at auction to vodka. I'm a former editor of both Wine & Spirit and Wine magazines in the UK. That's enough 'I's. |
