| Introduction | Yama (Yu Liang) started his journey of yoga in1995 with a sound understanding of ancient philosophy and culture of India. He is interested in the spiritualization of yoga practice and considers the cultivation of a devotional spirit the essence of yoga. He was first certificated as a teacher by International Yoga Institute（IYI）in Manila，Philippine in 2001. And then was trained in Ramamani Iyengar Yoga Institute in Pune, India, in 2005. He also attended Canadian yoga master Shakti mhi’s yoga teacher training course, which is certified by Yoga Alliance. Now he is in Shanghai teaching regular yoga classes as well as meditation, teacher training and workshop. He is specific in precise alignment, pranayama, mantra meditation/chanting and yoga philosophy. |
| Interests | 俞亮（YAMA），1969年2月26日清晨5～7之间点生于上海徐家汇国际妇幼保健医院。童年学习音乐(小提琴和大提琴)和艺术(绘画和平面设计)，后获得相关学位并从事近十年的艺术和设计教育，毕业后自修钢琴并尝试过作曲，大学里最喜欢读的是英国诗歌和所有哲学书籍。1995年接触瑜伽和印度哲学，自修英语并有机缘跟随多名大师和学者系统性地学习瑜伽文化和韦达哲学，不断推崇瑜伽的灵性体验，强调瑜伽是一种日常生活方式和身心的全然投入和奉献。2001年赴菲律宾马尼拉国际瑜伽学会（International Yoga Institute）接受培训并获瑜伽教师认证，其间曾用十个月时间练习曼陀罗冥想和瑜伽唱诵。2005年赴印度拜访古代圣迹，并于玛亚浦外士那瓦高等学院继续学习哲学和唱诵。然后在印度的大学城普内Pune艾扬格瑜伽学院(Ramamani Iyengar Yoga Institute)学习艾杨格风格的瑜伽体系。体位法教学上师承印度大师B.K.S.艾扬格的严谨精确的风格，着重于用细致的体位调整和能量控制为手段以达到瞬间的灵性的体悟，其特色是深入、精微和富于诗意的引导和讲解。2006年参加加拿大瑜伽大师shakti mhi的教师培训班并获国际瑜伽联盟证书， 这极大地丰富了他在洁净法和调息法方面的教学。他的瑜伽教学是艾扬格瑜伽的精确体位、呼吸（能量）控制、曼佗罗唱诵、哲学和心理松弛等多方面的融合，致力于引导学生通过体位练习进入对净化的体验，并通过推广瑜伽唱诵培养灵性的喜乐。他目前生活在上海，教授常规课，专题课（workshop）和教师培训。 |
