| Introduction | I am a first time father at age 41. My daugter was born with a chromosomal disorder known as 22q11.2 deletion syndrome. Over 180 different physical, developmental, and nuerological symptoms can be attributed to this disorder. It happens to about 1 in 4000 kids. It also has nothing to do with the parents age, lifestyle or anything else, it just happens. She is my pride and joy. |
