| Introduction | I have lived in Retford all my life and moved out of my family home due to family seperation and conflict. I was told about NCHA by my partner who lives within the organisation and shortly after I became a tenant at Wright Wilson Court. I heard about the B4BL oppertunity from staff at Retford Young Persons Housing Scheme but never thought of applying due to lack of confidance and self belief, it was only until staff advised me to apply because they believed that I was good enough that made me realise I was able and would be a good contributor to the team. From there I filled in an application form and was later asked to attend an interview, shortly after this, I recieved a letter accepting me onto the team. I believe that this trip will give me a whole new outlook and appreciation of the world, lifestyle and luxeries that I have. I am hoping that this oppertunity will change not only me but the people that I meet and help from taking part in this experiance. |
