Introduction	I am a wife and mother who has been blessed to stay home and raise my children for the past 15 years. I love to scrapbook and make jewelry. I also enjoy playing around with mixed-media art and art journaling. I love to cook and entertain, and I enjoy working vintage pieces into my decorating.

Favorite movies	I'm not a huge movie fan. I get bored just sitting watching movies, which bugs my family. I would rather be creating, reading books, or reading blogs. However, I DO love the Harry Potter series, the Shrek movies, and a good romantic comedy on occasion.
Favorite music	Contemporary Christian, especially Third Day, southern rock Lynyrd Skynyrd style, some country, 70's & 80's rock and easy listening when I'm feeling nostalgic. Oh, and listening to barber shop quartets and bluegrass just makes me smile. I've also been known to put on some Patsy Cline.
Favorite books	The Help, Water for Elephants, The Secret Life of Bees, The Kitchen House, Someone Knows my Name, Saving CeeCee Honeycutt
