| Introduction | Welcome to my blog. This is going to be an experiment. An experiment of me taking a shot at writing about my feelings, experiences and emotions as I emerge from the sorrow of losing both an 18 year old child to a pulmonary embolism in 2013 and a grandson at 18 hours old to Trisomy 18 in 2014. I am experimenting with being vulnerable and putting my feelings out there in the open to be judged and scrutinized. I know everyone won't agree or like what I have to say but this is my own journey of healing. It is the way I see life and what happens to me. You are welcome to watch me struggle as I work to emerge as a healthy and whole person that lives each day with meaning. I hope that maybe my ideas, thoughts, feelings, and approaches might help someone else dealing with a loss of any kind. |
