| Introduction | Nancy Petrey (1939 - ) got a music degree from the University of Alabama, did some teaching, married her childhood sweetheart Curtis, who became a preacher, and she became a music minister in his churches. After 56 years of marriage, Nancy had to say goodbye to Curtis as Jesus called him home in April 2016. In 1995, God had called Nancy to be a Mizpah for Israel and to teach the church about its Jewish roots. She studied modern Hebrew, taught Israel awareness classes, and led missions to Israel. She obtained a Master's degree in Religious Education in Middle East History in 2004 and began to teach community Bible studies in relation to Israel and the Jewish people. Her ninth trip to Israel was with her ministry partner, Janice Bell-Lewis, in December 2017. She has authored ten books, all Bible based. Nancy is in assisted living now but continues to write. Her latest book is "KIDS' DEVOTIONALS - READING WITH PARENTS," released October 2023. She continues to play the piano for churches and groups upon request. |
