| Introduction | I am a retired High School Science teacher who integrated Art into all lessons for 37 years. I began my study of art in 1969 with the Art Instruction Schools. Since moving to Ocala, Florida in 1972 I have studied with Jolene Ford, Eddie Franklin, and many art courses at the College of Central Florida. Since retirement in 2002 I have continued to study, six hours per week, with Carlynne Hershberger and Kelli Money Huff. My work focuses on landscapes executed in colored pencil, watercolor, or both. I am a member of the Visual Arists Society and the Marion Cultural Aliance, gainesville Fine Arts Assoc. My work has been shown at F.A.F.O., Eustis Artisan Market, Mount Dora Friday Night Art Walks, Master Gardener Art Show, Visual Artist's Society Shows, and Silver Threads Show at the Appleton Museum. I have been awarded: Best in Show 2008, Honorable Mention 2010, Honorable Mention 2011, Honorable Mention 2011, Best in Show 2012, all in Juried exhibitions. I am now represented by Renninger's in Mount Dora, FL. |
