| Introduction | Back in the 90s, I use to watch 120 minutes to find all my new music. Now, no such program exists yet smaller bands are still putting out great music videos. And if you aren't going to give a Pitchfork editor a blow job, what's a small band to do to get their video seen? So that's when I came up with the idea for this site, to help smaller talented bands get recognized... and maybe kill some time on the job as well. Is it cheesy to create a blog of other people's youtube postings? Perhaps, but this site is meant for the music fan who doesn't know where to begin to find new music and doesn't have time to randomly click through myspace bands hoping one will be awesome. This site is also for people who don't want to read about Beyonce, Metallica, and whatever else 1,000,000+ record selling band. My focus is on bands that sell less than 100,000 records (and in reality, probably most sell less than 5,000). If you have a video you'd like included on the site please let me know! |
