| Introduction | I am a visual artist living and working in Albany, NY. I “paint" with paper. My collage work centers around the four natural elements (earth, air, fire and water) and totem animals, each with their own symbolism, and the paper I “paint" with is magazine paper--specifically from celebrity fashion and gossip magazines. I transform these magazines away from the dissociative consumerism they promote into pieces that speak to how we as humans do connect with each other and with our natural world. I received my B.A. from New York University. I have shown my work in exhibitions in the Capital Region and surrounding areas, art and craft fairs, and in private collections. Reproductions are available at The Cheese Traveler in Albany, T&J Soaps in Troy, the Delmar Farmer’s Market, and on Etsy. I welcome commission work. |
