Introduction A girl trapped in the wrong era... I should have been around many, many years ago.... or... maybe I was and that is why I identify so much with things from the past. Clothes, art, movies, books, jewelry... My daily goal is to learn more about the past to enrich my present. I like to create things... make things with my own 2 hands and be able to say "I did it"! Whether it's a simple sketch, a headband, or my ultimate goal.... a garment. I also have a great love for animals so don't be shocked to find random stories about the critters in my life. ~ "Kitty Mae Packard" (Jean Harlow's role in Dinner at Eight wrapped around a touch of Mae West) Twitter: circa1939 Instagram: KittyPackard
Interests The past... Vintage things (replica's work too), Disney (because I believe I too am a princess and refuse to "grow up"), Old Hollywood, Pin-Ups, Musical Theater, CREATING, Art, Art History, JUST history & Reading ( I do lots of it!) I have an obsession for the Late 1920's, 1930's and 1940's... Lucille Ball, Gene Kelly and a mature Cary Grant made me love the 1950's. I also dabble with the Tudor, Elizabethan, Civil War and Victorian history and fashion...
Favorite Movies Gone With The Wind, Casablanca, Camille, Dark Victory, Notorious (with Bergman NOT Biggie) Now, Voyager, and basically any movie with Clark Gable, Jean Harlow or Cary Grant in it. Disney? Mary Poppins, Sleeping Beauty, The Little Mermaid, The Lion King. Beauty & The Beast.
Favorite Music Classic stuff (think Gene Kelly, Judy Garland and Bing Crosby), Musicals!! (everything from Disney Music to Phantom of The Opera!) R&B, alternative, some county & some classical music, and pretty much everything in between like Amy Winehouse and Morrissey. But I am picky with content. Music must have a purpose. I have to be able to connect with it in some way.
Favorite Books Gone With The Wind, The Vampire Lestat, Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn, My Love Affair with Jewelry (eye candy), Harlow in Hollywood (my favorite girl), Gabriel's Inferno Trilogy by Sylvain Reynard & This Man Trilogy by Jodi Ellen Malpas. ...nothing wrong with Romance :)

Why does the taste of pennies remind you of losing a tooth?
