| Introduction | Leigh is my alter ego. She is astute, strong, sexy, and incredible. She's the woman every woman wants to be. Unlike me. She is the face that I put on when I'm scared. She's the single unstoppable force that took on the world as the single mother of 3 small children,and gave speeches, carried picket signs, and helped to transform the child suport laws. She cracks jokes, and has amazing strength when it comes to my grown sons both in the army and who have served our country. As well as being the encouragement to other mothers of children gone off to war, even when I was so scared that I could not sleep with worry for my own son in harms way. She is a lioness when it comes to my 7 grandchildren and constantly doing battle against the world for them all, expecially for Joey. Joey, who will never ever be able to stand up for himself. She will fight the devil himself to make sure people are kind to this child who is so severely handicapped. She will be a bully to protect him too! She was the strength that it took to let go of my only daughter when she left home and moved so far away.She is me. Stronger than I could ever be. |
