| Interests | I've been working in the jewelry, metal and gemstone field for since 2000 bringing me around the world from gold mines to diamond sales to gemstones from outer space. Having completed 2 years at George Brown College for Goldsmithing, I'm currently focusing on designing and creating my own one of a kind and limited production line under Quincy Jewels & Design. When I'm not in the studio, I'm working on my gemstone art and a my ongoing life long research and sometimes unspoken about issues of the jewelry industry and it's many different facets including history, ethics, mining, corruption, art vs. mass production and it's cultural effects. I also work with and am constantly exploring the metaphysical side of metal and gemstones an am always in search for the next gemstone and topics including sacred geometry and healing properties. I'm also a freelance jewelry writer. |
