| Introduction | Liz and I were tavern keepers and restaurateurs, but became mightily fed up with the UK’s drink till you drop culture. We packed it in and flew out to Asia where we lived and worked for 18 months. On the way home, we stopped in Malta for a year. Back in England, we worked as relief pub managers for a while, but were given some god-awful places to run. By mid 2012, Liz decided we'd had enough of British Politics and English Weather and we moved to Hurghada, Egypt and are now living in the El Kawser district of the city, and fulfilling a lifetime’s ambition. We can dive regularly. In case you were wondering, Google says “iustus.a.vir” is Latin for “Just a man.” It seemed like an inspired choice at the time! |
