Introduction MARK ARANAL is a director-writer-producer for stage and television. He is also a performing artist, songwriter, production designer and events coordinator. Direk Mark’s first love is theater, having started in that field as a child. He was a regular radio and commercial talent at the age of nine and also appeared in films and tv programs. He has worked with several theater companies such as Repertory Philippines, PETA and Tanghalang Ateneo. He ventured into television as a writer-director-segment producer of shows like “Lutong Bahay” and “Job Network” among others. Direk Mark relocated to San Francisco, Califonia in the nineties. He came back to the Philippines to become the resident director of Chancel Repertory Theater. He had his education at UP Integrated School, Ateneo de Manila University, Jean Shelton Actor’s Lab and Asian Theological Seminary. He is currently working as a dubbing director and writer of foreign-language telenovelas, and producing concerts and live events. His current ministries include producing and hosting Gospel Jam, as well as teaching Biblical principles of financial management for Crown Ministries.
