Introduction	I use streets every day. I think streets are for everyone, not just people in cars. Bikers and pedestrians deserve a fair chance, as do skaters, wildlife, elderly people, the handicapped, etc. Vibrant street life makes cities interesting, but it doesn't happen by accident. This blog speaks to my passion for workable streets that will balance competing uses and make Chattanooga a better place. While I'll be chronicling the various failures of the street- accidents, crime and the like- I hope to also highlight a path toward better streets. Occasionally I'll use other cities as examples.
